The Men’s Den was born inside Kariella, our women’s boutique in Ojai and Santa Barbara, California. After watching men wait patiently while their partners tried on endless styles, we realized something — they deserved a space of their own. A place curated with the same care, quality, and individuality that defines Kariella, but designed exclusively for him.

So we built The Men’s Den — a boutique for the modern man who values comfort, confidence, and effortless style. Every piece is hand-selected for wearability and distinction, blending timeless design with everyday ease.

Because men shouldn’t just wait around for great style — they should have their own.

Kariella began as the childhood dream of founder and Ojai native, Amara Bessa, whose fashion journey started at sixteen on the retail floor of BCBG and evolved through roles in visual merchandising and buying for brands like Donna Karan, Nordstrom, and ANGEL in Montecito. After fifteen years in the industry, she set out with one intention: to help people feel confident in their own skin. What began as a small passion project quickly grew, leading to her first storefront and the steady expansion of the brand. Today, Kariella is a modern bohemian boutique rooted in Ojai, offering an elevated mix of women’s and men’s apparel, accessories, and swim from beloved brands alongside our in‑house labels, Kariella and The Men’s Den.
